Our approach

Our approach at Step By Step Christian Counseling service is to assist you in navigating through the everyday struggles and pressures of life. I truly believe that recognizing and acknowledging that you are in need of assistance is half of the battle in the process of healing and overcoming the obstacles that you are currently facing. At Step By Step, we believe that every client is fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, meaning that God has taken great care and has given much attention to how we are made. Our compassionate and empathetic approach is our promise to every client. My preferred form of therapy is talk therapy, a dialogue between two human beings. My therapeutic approach examines the quality of the client/therapist relationship. These qualities include mutual respect, authenticity, genuineness, ability to empathize, provide acceptance, and unconditional positive regard for the client. I emphasize the client’s resources for becoming self-aware and for resolving blocks to personal growth which allows the client to determine the direction of therapy while putting the client at the center of therapy. My personal goal is to help you find your Victory in the process.
